Sachin Pilot, a prominent leader in the Rajasthan Congress, and his wife Sara Abdullah have decided to separate after nearly two decades of marriage. This separation was disclosed for the first time in Pilot’s election affidavit as he identified himself as a divorcee.
Both tied knot in 2004:
The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, has two sons, Aran and Vihaan, both of whom are listed as Pilot’s dependents in the affidavit.
Notably, the affidavit also highlights a significant increase in Pilot’s wealth over the past five years. In 2018, his total assets were valued at around Rs 3.8 crore, but by 2023, his wealth had nearly doubled, with an estimated value of Rs 7.5 crore.
Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the Rajasthan Assembly election is set to take place on November 25, with the results scheduled for announcement on December 3.
