Rajasthan: A tantrik was arrested for killing a man and a woman in the forested area of Kelabavadi in Rajasthan's Udaipur on November 18. Police found their naked bodies three days after they were killed.
Initially, police suspected it to be a case of honour killing because of the caste difference between the two and the manner in which both were killed. However, they got deeper into the case when they arrested the tantrik who during investigation, confessed to killing the couple.

Couple knew the tantric
The victims, identified as Rahul Meena, a 30-year-old teacher, and 28-year-old Sonu Kunwar, were married to separate people. As they often visited Ichchapoorna Sheshnaag Bhavji Mandir in Bhadavi Gudah to meet the tantric Bhalesh Kumar, they came to know each other and got into a relationship. Rahul now started having fights with his wife who in turn sought the tantric’s help.
When Rahul found out that the tantric told his wife about his relationship with Sonu, the couple threatened him of defaming him by filing a false molestation case. Fearing that he may lose the reputation he had built for himself over the years, the tantric hatched a plot to eliminate them.
Police said the tantric bought about 50 tubes of superglue and poured them into a bottle. On the evening of November 15, he invited Rahul and Sonu to a secluded area in a forest and asked them to have sex in front of him.

Pours superglue on them
Even as the two were in the act, Bhalesh poured the bottle of superglue over them. Rahul and Sonu got stuck to each other and in their attempt to pull away from each other, their skin started ripping off. Rahul's private part was separated from his body and Sonu also sustained injuries to her private organs.
In the meanwhile, police said the tantrik attacked both. He slit Rahul's throat and stabbed Sonu to death with a knife and fled the spot.
Superintendent of Police (SP), Udaipur, Vikas Kumar said after the police found the bodies, they scanned the footage of 50 CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the area and rounded up many people including Bhalesh Kumar. During interrogation, he confessed to the murders.
The police produced him before a court, which remanded him in police custody for three days.
