Two skeletons were found in a burnt Bolero

Two skeletons were found in a burnt Bolero in Haryana's Bhiwani on Thursday. The car's engine registration number was traced to a missing person's FIR lodged in Rajasthan's Bharatpur on the same day, prompting the police of both the states to act in the matter.

Later, the Rajasthan Police sent a team to Haryana to verify the details of the incident. A burnt Bolero was found on Thursday morning in Barwas village of Loharu police station area of Bhiwani, Haryana. The local people informed the police and the police along with the team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the spot.

Relatives of the deceased have alleged that both were abducted from Bharatpur by cow vigilantes belonging to Bajrang Dal. Reacting to the allegations, Bajrang Dal said it was wrong to register cases against its party members without proof.

Senior Rajasthan police officer Shyam Singh said that an FIR has been registered at Gopalgarh police station against five people, Anil, Srikant, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singla and Mohit Yadav alias Monu Manesar.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the killing and promised strict action against the accused. "One accused has been taken into custody and search is on for the remaining accused," he tweeted in Hindi.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) demanded a CBI probe into the incident, alleging that the name of its youth wing Bajrang Dal was being dragged into the case due to "political bias".
