Ranchi News: Agitated students block roads, Police Station after Teacher molests Student

Ranchi News: Hundred of Students of a Ranchi school took to the streets to protest against the teacher who was accused of molesting a student. Students were demanding strict action against the teacher who is involved in molesting the girl students in Pithoria area of Ranchi. Students were raising slogans and blocked the Police Station.

Protesting students demand the arrest of the accused

After the agitated students took to the streets, the Police arrested the teacher. The Protesting students were demanding the arrest of the teacher and punish him according to the law. A huge crowd gathered outside the Police station and demanded the accused to be handed over to them or either hanged. Police had to deploy extra force to handle the agitated crowd. Many of them jammed the roads and blocked the area and were not letting the traffic pass.

Similar case was reported from Sahebganj Area

The Police was making efforts to pacify the agitated crowd. A similar incident has been reported from Sahebganj area where the Headmaster used to molest the school girls. The staff along with the students took to the streets to protest against the Headmaster. The Police had to use additional force to disperse the agitated crowd.
