Ranchi News: Ranchi News: Minor boys made to lick spit on suspicion of theft, child line team comes to rescue

Ranchi News: Two minor boys of Jharkhand were made to go through the most brutal punishment on the suspicion of theft. The boys were made to stand in mud filled water, lick the spit on the ground, hands tied and head tonsured, not only this they were garlanded with shoes, made to parade in the entire village and were allowed to go only after receiving a fine of Rs 3000.

Police came into action after watching video on net

After the video of the entire incident was uploaded in Social Media, Police have lodged an FIR against four people in the case. The incident also caught attention of the child line help team and they immediately rushed and recorded the statements of the children. According to the local villager, around 3400 Rs were stolen from the house of a villager for which they blamed the minor boy for the theft.

Minor Boys were made to lick spit

A few people dragged the minor boys from their house at around 1am in the night, and tied them with rope. When their parents had gone to arrange the money the villagers tonsured their head and paraded them in the village with garland of shoes and slippers. The minor boys were later released when the fine amount was given by their parents
