Ranchi News: In order to make the city Garbage Free, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation has decided to install more than 600 CCTVs in over 233 locations to keep an eye on the people dumping garbage in the area. The move will be continuously monitored by Officials of Ranchi Smart city and Municipal Corporation officials. With the help of the CCTV cameras it will be easier to find out who is throwing unnecessary garbage and from where it is being dumped, so that the person or the office or culprit should be held accountable.
Regular Offenders will be fined
As soon as someone is caught dumping garbage, officials sitting inside the command center will inform the Supervisors and they will take action. Officials sitting inside the Command Center are keeping an eye on the footage of the cameras all the time. People or places who will be caught dumping garbage regularly or repeat the mistakes even after warnings, they will face legal action.
Hospitals, Schools, Hotels fall under the Top Priority
Areas like Religious places, Hospitals, statues of important leaders, Hospitals , schools, Hotels will fall under the top priority category and people throwing garbage around these places will be fined or will face action. The move will help improve the city terms of cleanliness and hygiene and will teach people to follow hygiene as a practice.
