The incident occurred as the Prime Minister was leaving the Birsa Munda Jayanti event during his two-day visit to Jharkhand. The woman, expressing a longstanding desire to meet the Prime Minister, made the desperate attempt during his visit to Ranchi. She had reportedly been in Delhi for 10 days, attempting to meet PM Modi without success. Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister paid floral tributes to tribal icon Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary in Ranchi. He also launched a Rs 24,000-crore project aimed at the development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Additionally, PM Modi initiated the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and released the 15th installment of Rs 18,000 crore under the PM-KISAN scheme during his visit.
