Ghaziabad News: In Uttar Pradesh, where a man was detained on suspicion of seducing a young kid and brainwashing him into changing his religion, a fresh scandal has emerged. Both the main suspect and the victim were in Ghaziabad, and the former has been taken into custody.
Online Gaming as a Tool of Religious Persuasion
Hindustan Times claims that the youngster was persuaded to change his religion through online gaming, which was ultimately discovered by the minor's businessman father in Ghaziabad. The situation then became even more difficult, though. A 23-year-old man named Baddo who has been recognised by the police as Shahnawaz Khan is the main suspect in the case. He had also served as the previous caretaker of the Abdul Rehman mosque in Ghaziabad. The father of the young kid, a businessman, filed a FIR against Khan after the boy said Khan had used online gaming apps to entice him. The father decided to look into the situation after noticing that his son was practising a different religion.

How Shahnawaz Khan Targeted Young Boys in the Conversion Scandal
However, the authorities then discovered that Shahnawaz Khan had already turned to seducing young boys. According to media sources, the man misled three Hindu boys and one Jain child before they converted to their respective religions. Fortnite, a well-known online game that was being accused of being utilised as the front for a conversion ring in Ghaziabad, was used to convert these four young victims. According to the police, young boys were specifically targeted since they were highly engaged in online gaming and had more malleable minds. According to reports, Shahnawaz set up a Hindu-sounding online gaming ID to win the trust of his victims and then beat them at their own game. Khan used to tell them that reciting words from Islamic prayers would help them win when they were losing. The accused also persuaded these kids that if they visited the mosque five times every day, they would succeed in the games.
