Shravani Mela 2025: AI Chatbot to Improve Devotee Services, Smart Pilgrimage On Cards in Jharkhand

It is for the first time that the Jharkhand Government and the Deoghar district administration partnered to introduce a smart chatbot app that will provide real-time information and important services to more than 51 lakh of the anticipated pilgrims that are going to make this spiritual passage connected and more tech-friendly.

It will mark the first instance that pilgrims of the Shravani Mela will get digital assistance in real-time. The new chatbot application is aimed at facilitating the whole process to be pleasant, instructive, and interactive. Once it is launched, it will be downloadable through:

• The website of the district administration

• Social media accounts 

• SMS connections to the registered mobile numbers

The devotees would also be able to learn about the history of Deoghar and easily get directions regarding routes of the mela through the chatbot with a single click on their smartphones, and also learn about the names of stations, airports, and bus stands, and so much more.

This chatbot application will establish a first-hand online connection between the administration and other devotees, who will always be assisted in case of any emergency.
