Attacks On Suvendu Sarkar And Agnimitra Paul
In another development, BJP candidate Suvendu Sarkar was allegedly assaulted in Kumarganj. TMC goons carried out the attack and slapped the BJP candidate in the presence of West Bengal Police.
Clashes broke out between TMC supporters and supporters of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) led by Humayun Kabir, prompting central force and police to resort to baton charge.
