Noida News: With the help of 100 sanitation workers, residents, and students, the Noida Authority has organised a big cleanup blitz called “Shramdaan” for October 1 at 70 locations throughout the city. Officials claim that the purpose of the change was to include additional neighbourhoods in order to improve the city’s Swachh rankings.

The Shramdaan will take place on Sunday between 10 and 11 a.m. A number of locales, including Agahpur, Behlolpur, Sadarpur, Baraula, Rasoolpur, Navada, Raipur, and Sultanpur, would host the big push. “There will be 100 people at each location cleaning public areas including main roads, residential areas and parks. We will provide proper kits including gloves, T-shirts and masks to our staff and volunteers for the mega drive,” SP Singh, the Authority’s deputy general manager for public health, said.

The campaign’s name, “Swachhta Hi Sewa,” urges everyone to participate in keeping the city clean, according to Singh. In an earlier inspection of the city’s cleaning initiatives, Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M penalised three sanitation businesses Rs 2 lakh each for failing to remove rubbish mounds along crucial roads in Sector 122 and other sanitation work-related offences.
