Teachers’ recruitment scam: CBI raids 6 locations in Bengal, including TMC MLA’s house

Teachers’ recruitment scam: In connection to the scam, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) searched for six locations, including a TMC MLA’s home in West Bengal.

The investigation agency took action after filing a complaint in accordance with the Calcutta High Court’s directive.

The CBI searched the offices of the chairperson of a trust with colleges in Birbhum and Kolkata in Kolkata, Purba Medinapur, and Birbhum district.

A number of incriminating items were found during a search of another person’s Purba Medinipur residence.

The source claims that those three individuals served as middlemen to solicit money from hopeful applicants by offering them positions as elementary instructors in 2016.

According to CBI sources, the searches began yesterday at the home of Jiban Krishna Saha, an MLA for the Burwan constituency.

According to the sources, five bags of papers were found in bushes close to his house’s boundary wall during the searches. The allegedly documents of aspiring candidates who had turned in bribe money were found.
