Tragic! 3-storey Building collapses in Ahmedabad, search continues for survivors, 26 rescued

Building collapses in Ahmedabad: A three-storeyed structure fell on Thursday in the Vejalpur neighbourhood of Ahmedabad, and it was suspected that four to five persons were buried beneath the rubble.

The majority of the occupants reportedly left the building once it was found to be in disrepair. However, two families were still dwelling there when it collapsed. As soon as they arrived, the fire crew started the rescue effort.

Firefighters rescue three people from collapsed building in Ahmedabad

Fire Officer Jayesh Khadia stated, 'We arrived at the scene almost away after learning about the building collapse. Before we arrived, up to 23 people had already been evacuated from the structure, and we successfully freed three more trapped individuals.'
