Unbelievable! Rajasthan's Nagaur district witnesses a grand wedding with a whopping Rs 3 crore worth of gifts from the bride's uncles

Rajasthan: A video and photographs of three maternal uncles in Rajasthan's Nagaur district gifting their niece wedding presents worth over Rs 3 crore have gone viral on social media. Everyone present was taken aback when the bride's maternal grandfather and uncles arrived at the venue carrying Rs 80 lakh in cash, jewellery, plot papers, and a tractor for'mamera' or'mayra' (a traditional ritual in which the bride's or groom's maternal uncle carries gifts for his niece or nephew in their marriage).

About the bride

Anushka, the daughter of Ghevari Devi and Bhanwarlal Potaliya, married on Wednesday, and the bride's maternal grandpa Bhanwarlal Garwa, a native of Burdi village, and his three sons Harendra, Rameshwar, and Rajendra presented the presents.

Three sons have got so much wealth

Ghevari Devi and her family were overwhelmed with the gesture. However, Bhanwarlal said Ghevari is the only daughter in the family and due to her luck, his three sons have got so much wealth.
