UP News: CM Yogi's 23-Point Agenda! Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Nods to Key Proposals, Unveils Liquor Price Shifts

UP News: CM Yogi presided over the cabinet meeting, which took place on Tuesday at Lok Bhavan. CM Yogi Adityanath presided over a meeting where 23 significant proposals were accepted. Yogi Cabinet has made numerous important choices. After approving NITI Aayog's recommendations, the Cabinet today made it possible for 2.40 lakh NCR allottees to receive housing.

Important cabinet Decisions

  • 1.283 hectare land vested in the state government is being allotted on lease to the school memorial Saraswati Vidya Mandir, established on the land of Government Grant Act, in village Chandan Chowki, village Chandan Chowki, tehsil Palia of Lakhimpur Kheri tehsil Palia district
  • Under the Bharat Net Scheme of the Government of India, exemption from payment of premium and lease rent of forest land to be made available for laying optical fiber cable to Gram Panchayat and for the culture of 4G mobile services in villages deprived of mobile connectivity
  • Amendment has been made in Uttar Pradesh Darshasavani Rules
  • In continuation of the Chief Minister's announcement, a proposal to establish Advanced Predic Center at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow was passed.
  • Proposal for renewal of release date of Bhattagat land under Government Grant Act 1895 to Xerox India Limited.
  • Proposal regarding increasing the fixed price of vehicles for purchasing vehicles in administrative departments.
  • A committee constituted under the chairmanship of Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, Government of India, to resolve the problems of the Legacy Stall Real Estate Project. Under this, 2.40 lakh houses will be available to consumers in NCR.
  • Regarding providing special facilities and concessional permissions for mega category industrial enterprises in the state under Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022.
  • Uttar Pradesh Public Records MLA 2023
  • 10 hectares of Horticulture Department land situated in the Government Zone, Sargana District, Agra, under the control of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Horticulture Department, Government of India, all come on the release date, stamps to be given free of cost for 99 years to the Shashi Body, National Horticulture Board, Gurugram, Haryana. And regarding exemption in registration fee
  • In order to provide a national level market for the agricultural produce to the farmers in the state, to provide licenses to the traders from outside the state to trade the agricultural products in the state and to other states to trade the targeted agricultural products in Uttar Pradesh, a production market has been established, Regarding promulgation of Rules 2023
  • Regarding administrative approval for the construction work of new district prison in Shahjahanpur district with prisoner capacity of 2120 for the entire purpose and at a cost of lakhs.
  • Regarding amendment in Uttar Pradesh Forest Department Subordinate (Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard) Service Rules 2015
  • Prorogation of the current session of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly
  • Approval on issuing municipal bonds for Municipal Corporations Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Agra and providing funds for credit rating investment from Establishment Development Fund.
  • Regarding the implementation of Sanskrit No. 44.11 among the pension etc. cultures of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission in compliance with the Supreme Court order dated 19523.
  • Approved project of Harduaganj MW Thermal Expansion Project whose cost was Rs 6011.83 crore, increase of Rs 273.15 crore due to interest on the day of construction, increase of Rs 62.66 crore in Start of Fuel Power Energy and increase of Rs 4.50 crore due to cost of limestone and ammonia for FGD system, total Rs 340.31 crore. Due to increase of Rs. 6352.14 crores, approval was given on the third initial cost of the project.
  • Regarding promulgation of excise policy year 24-25
  • Regarding inclusion of 33 revenue villages in the development area of Saharanpur Development Authority.
  • Regarding withdrawal of the proposal of Uttar Pradesh Temporary Exemption from Certain Labor Laws Ordinance 2020 passed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 15/5/2020
  • To withdraw the proposal approved by the Honorable Council of Ministers for amendment in Section 24 and 25 of the said Act for the purpose of investment promotion, passed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 19/7/2023, to abolish the provision of Karva from the Boiler Act 1923. in relation
  • Regarding increasing the Advocate Welfare Fund to Rs 500 crore
  • Regarding establishment of cyber police stations in 57 districts of the country

Revamped Excise Policy

The cabinet has approved the excise policy. Liquor will now cost a lot in Uttar Pradesh. In addition, the Urban Development Department's proposal to introduce municipal bonds from the Varanasi Municipal Corporation, Prayagraj, Agra, and Kanpur was accepted. Establishing an Advanced Paediatric Centre in SGPI was decided upon in accordance with the medical education proposal.
