UP News:The Met Department has predicted heavy rain warning for today and tomorrow in the state of Uttar Pradesh. As Rain continues in most part of the Nation, IMD has predicted extremely heavy rains for North Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Sikkim. The Met Department has also issued yellow alert for Himachal Pradesh and Bihar. The National Capital Region will have cloudy sky with light Rainfall. An alert has been issued for Uttarakhand, especially Dehradun, Nainital and other districts.
East UP likely to witness Heavy Rainfall till August 8th
East Uttar Pradesh may witness heavy rainfall till August 8th. Light to Moderate Rains are expected in parts of Central India, while East and West Madhya Pradesh will witness heavy to very heavy showers. A cyclonic circulation over the Gujarat region is likely to impact Rainfall in the coming week. On the other hand, the heavy rains have brought lot of misery for the travellers as most of the areas got water logged leading to Traffic Jams.
Low Lying areas turned into Pools during Rains
Many low lying areas of the Lucknow city have into small pools. Areas like Gomti Nagar, haidarganj and Aishbag faced severe water logging. Whenever there is rain, most of these areas get flooded with water.
