UP Weather Update: For the next 48 hours, Uttar Pradesh is expected to see rain mixed with thunder and lightning, according to the meteorological department. In the warning, 30 areas may see heavy rain, while 56 districts may experience lightning with accompanying thunder and lightning. Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur, and Kheri are the districts where the Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of lightning.

In Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and other places, there is a chance of thunder and lightning.
Heavy Rain Forecast for Bijnor, Moradabad, and Rampur
A warning for extremely heavy rain has been issued for the following districts: Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, and nearby areas may see severe to extremely heavy rainfall.
Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Amroha, Bareilly, Pilibhit, and Shahjahanpur are among the districts under a heavy rain alert. In the nearby cities of Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, and Jhansi, there is a chance of experiencing heavy rain.
