Uttar Pradesh tourism to thrive with CM Yogi’s efforts, Japan invests Rs 7,200 crore to build hotels in 30 cities

Uttar Pradesh Tourism: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath continues to inch closer to his dream of boosting tourism sector in Uttar Pradesh. Along with bringing national and foreign tourist in the state, the development will also present ample employment opportunities in the state.

UP becoming a tourists’ hub

Uttar Pradesh hosted 24.87 crore tourism under-construction Vishwanath Dham Corridor and Vindhya Dham helped some cities including Agra, Mathura, Chitrakoot, and Jhansi to develop their tourism potential. st in the state in the year 2022. The number is supposed to see an exponential rise with growth in the multiple sectors. With CM Yogi’s continuous efforts, the tourism and hospital sectors were able to capture tourists’ attention and secured deals from the investors in the recently conclude Global Investors Summit. 

Grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Shriram will boost tourism in UP

The CM had also announced to build a grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Shriram by January 2024, which is expected to bring more tourists in the state. Ayodhya has been a special attraction for tourism. In 2020, in six months alone, the state recorded two crore tourists. 

The tourism sector has received a whopping investment proposal of Rs 98,193 crores, while hospitality centre have been allocated an investment of Rs 20,722 crores. These investments will further aggravate job opportunities in the state, providing employment to Rs 1.45 lakh people. 

Japan invests Rs 7,200 crore in UP

Under-construction Vishwanath Dham Corridor and Vindhya Dham helped some cities including Agra, Mathura, Chitrakoot, and Jhansi to develop their tourism potential, a statement released by the UP govt said.

Japan is making hotels in 30 cities of Uttar Pradesh. “The representatives of Japan in GIS also praised the changed atmosphere of UP. Investors signed MoU for the investment of ₹7,200 crores. At the summit, the Japanese company Hotel Management International Company Limited (HMI Group) decided to open hotels in 30 cities including Agra, Ayodhya, and Varanasi.”
