In Uttarakhand, which is playing an important role in the conservation of tigers, since January this year till now, the mystery of the death of 14 tigers in different areas will be solved by the Bisra report.

The truth of the death of tigers will come out in the Bisra report

So far in the investigation in the case of death of tigers, the matter of vengeance and hunting has not been revealed behind the death. This claim is being made in view of tigers being found in the dense forest and all their parts being found safe. However, now in these cases forgotten reports are being obtained from the Indian Animal Research Institute (IVRI). This will bring clarity regarding the reasons.

In the state, four tigers died in Corbett Tiger Reserve, nine in Terai East, West and Central, Almora and Ramnagar forest divisions, one in Rajaji Tiger Reserve on different dates since January. It is natural to create a stir in the department. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself has also instructed the department to investigate these cases thoroughly. In this sequence, reports were sought from the directors of Chief Conservator of Forests, Kumaon, Corbett Tiger Reserve and Rajaji Tiger Reserve. Initial reports found the death of the tigers to be natural. However, after receiving the report, Chief Wildlife Warden Dr Sameer Sinha has sought clarity on some more points.

Sources said that the skins, bones and teeth of all the tigers found dead during this period were found safe. One body was decomposed but all the bones were intact. Along with this, the matter of poisoning them has also not been revealed in the post-mortem report. In such a situation, there is no possibility of their hunting and killing in retaliation. The ashes of all the dead tigers were sent to IVRI for examination.

On behalf of the Chief Conservator of Forests, Kumaon and the directors of both the Tiger Reserves, the report is now being obtained from the IVRI. Along with this, the circumstances under which the tigers died are being investigated thoroughly.

State's Chief Wildlife Warden Dr. Sinha said that the Chief Conservator of Forests Kumaon and the directors of both the Tiger Reserves have been asked to submit the final report soon.
