After Killing Wife, Man In uttarakhand Tries To Strangle Mother

After killing own wife in Rudrapur, man tried to strangle his own mother. When there was an uproar, the mother’s life was saved when the people of the neighborhood came. She has been admitted to the district hospital in serious condition. Where her condition remains critical.

Rakesh son Rajendra Prasad resident of Raja Colony was married on June 2 with Meera, 23 years old daughter Om Prakash resident of Narayan Colony. There was a dispute between the two since their marriage. Due to which most of Meera’s time was spent in her maternal home after marriage.

On the day of Deepawali, Rakesh along with his mother Sudama Devi and father Rajendra Prasad brought his wife after a settlement with the maternal uncle. On Wednesday morning, Rakesh brutally murdered his wife Meera by strangling her with the pallu of her own sari. During this time his mother Sudama Devi was with other tenants on the terrace.

Rakesh called his mother Sudama and came downstairs and tried to kill her by strangulating her. Hearing her scream, the people of the neighborhood came there and when they tried to save her, Rakesh also attacked them. People surrounded him and tied him up.

The injured Sudama Devi and Meera were admitted to the district hospital. Where the doctors declared Meera dead.

On information, Inspector-in-Charge Transit Camp Sundaram Sharma and Housing Development Outpost in-charge Neema Vohra reached the spot along with the force.

The police have taken the dead body. The Panchnama will be filled under the supervision of a magistrate, as the marriage has a time period of four months. Housing development outpost in-charge Neema Bohra told that information has been given to the magistrate.
