Ankita Bhandari Murder Case: The three main accused in the murder of 19-year-old Uttarakhand resort receptionist Ankita Bhandari will undergo a narco test, according to the most recent development in the case. The court has already received an application for this.

Test will be done as soon as approval is given. After conducting narco test the chargesheet of the case will be presented in the court. The process of conducting narco test is being taken forward to strengthen the evidence and to ensure strict punishment to the culprits.

Ankita’s father had demanded narco test

Ankita Bhandari’s father Virendra Bhandari said that there should be a CBI inquiry into the murder of the daughter and narco test of all the three accused should be done. Virendra Bhandari had made this demand while staging a sit-in protest.

At the same time, Virendra Bhandari had said, “The day I met the Chief Minister, I had told him that those who are criminals should be hanged, but I do not feel anything like that.” I had also asked that on whose orders the bulldozer was run, and what was the name of the person driving the bulldozer? But till now he has not told the name. My demand is that all the three criminals should be investigated by the CBI”.

Ankita Bhandari murder case

Pulkit Arya, the owner of Vanantara Resort located at Yamkeshwar, Ganga Bhogpur in Pauri Garhwal district, and his two other accomplices had killed receptionist Ankita Bhandari by throwing her into the canal on the night of 18 September. After the matter came to light, Ankita Bhandari’s missing was registered in the revenue area by the resort owner himself. After that, the body of 19-year-old Ankita was recovered from the Chilla Canal near Rishikesh on 24 September.
