Planning to visit Chardham Yatra here's the latest updates on price. The fare for Chardham Yatra can be more expensive this time. All-round rising inflation is now going to affect the devotees as well. Devotees going to visit Kedaranath and Badrinath Dham by buses in Uttarakhand will now have to pay more money. The fare of these buses can be increased up to 5%.

According to reports, the bus fare for Chardham Yatra may increase by five percent this year. The Joint Travel Rotation Arrangement Committee has unanimously decided to increase the fare. The proposal for this increased fare is being sent to the Transport Department. Now if Uttarakhand Transport Department approves this proposal, then this year you will have to pay more money for Chardham Yatra.

Why will the fare of Char Dham Yatra increase?

Actually, the Chardham Yatra Rotation Arrangement Committee had held a big meeting in the office of Garhwal Motors Honors Union to increase the fare. In this meeting, the chairman of the committee, Sanjay Shastri, told that last year there was no increase in this fare, but due to the increase in the cost of maintenance of buses, including the rising prices of diesel, this year the fare can be increased by 5 percent. The reason for this is that if the fare is not increased then the bus owners will have to bear the loss this time.

In such a situation, it has been told that this time the committee has proposed a slight increase of five percent in the bus fare of Chardham Yatra. This decision has been taken by the office bearers of all the seven companies with the support and full consent, after this the proposal is being sent to the Transport Department and after the approval of the proposal, the fare for the journey will be issued. In such a situation, people going directly to Chardham Yatra are going to face a big blow of inflation.
