On one hand, the government is engaged in preparations for the Chardham Yatra. On the other hand, the Joshimath episode is also being closely monitored. There is a problem of landslide in Joshimath for about one and a half months. Now the problem of landslide is also coming on Badrinath Highway. About ten feet deep pit has been formed on the highway near the railway guest house, due to which a new problem has arisen. On receiving the information, the Border Roads Organization filled the pit with the help of laborers. The crater was so deep that it took about half a truckload of stone, cement and concrete to fill it. After this the Tehsildar inspected the highway. Earlier on the highway there was a pit near the Marwari Hotel.
Landslide is happening, improvement work is going on there
Wherever landslides are happening on the BRO highway, it is busy in carrying out improvement work. The administration team inspected the Badrinath highway till Marwari. During this, he saw the cracks lying at various places. The Tehsildar asked the officials of the Border Roads Organization to chalk out the highway before the commencement of the Chardham Yatra. Chardham Yatra is going to start from 22nd April. As soon as the Badrinath Yatra starts on April 27, traffic will start on the Joshimath route as well. Before which the administration will have to rectify the arrangements on this route. On the other hand, the Joshimath administration has asked hoteliers to make online bookings in Joshimath. In such a situation, the administration is making full preparations to solve the problem of Joshimath in the coming two months. For which the government is also continuously monitoring.
