According to the latest pilgrimage figures released by authorities, more than 10.5 lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham so far during the ongoing yatra season. A total of 1,050,670 pilgrims have paid obeisance to Baba Kedar, reflecting the continued spiritual significance of the shrine among devotees from across the country.

Badrinath Dham has also recorded a large influx of pilgrims

Badrinath Dham has also recorded a large influx of pilgrims, with 832,903 devotees visiting the temple and offering prayers to Lord Badri Vishal. The steady rise in pilgrim numbers has made this year’s yatra one of the busiest in recent years.

Officials reported that long queues were visible at both temples as devotees waited for darshan. Authorities have been managing crowd movement through coordinated arrangements involving police personnel, disaster management teams, and temple administration officials.

The Uttarakhand government has been continuously monitoring pilgrimage activities and implementing measures to ensure the safety and convenience of visitors. Additional arrangements for traffic management, medical assistance, accommodation, and crowd regulation have been put in place to handle the growing number of pilgrims.

The surge in footfall has also provided a significant boost to local businesses, transport operators, hotels, and tourism-related activities across the Char Dham region. Traders and residents in pilgrimage towns have reported increased economic activity due to the large number of visitors.

Officials have advised devotees to follow travel advisories, weather updates, and safety guidelines while undertaking the pilgrimage. With the yatra season continuing, authorities expect the number of visitors at Kedarnath and Badrinath to rise further in the coming weeks.

The Char Dham Yatra remains one of India’s most important religious pilgrimages, drawing lakhs of devotees annually to the sacred shrines nestled in the Himalayas.
