Key Reshuffle in Uttarakhand Police Leadership: Senior Officers Transferred

In a significant development, a long-awaited transfer of senior police officers has taken place in the Uttarakhand Police Department. Sukhbir Singh Nayak, previously serving as the Inspector General of Police (IRB) in Nainital, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

Ramchandra Rajguru, who held the position of Captain in Almora, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IRB) in Ramnagar. Meanwhile, Ajay Ganpati Kumar, a Police Superintendent from the railway sector, has been designated as the new Captain of Champawat district.

Key Reshuffle in Uttarakhand Police Leadership: Senior Officers Transferred

The newly appointed Captain of Almora is Devendra Pincha, and Kamlesh Upadhyay, who was serving as the Superintendent of Police in Dehradun Rural, has been appointed as the Police Superintendent for Crime and Law Enforcement in Dehradun.

Sarita Dobhal, the previous Superintendent of Police in the capital city, has been appointed as the Police Superintendent for Railways in Haridwar. Pramod Kumar is now the Police Superintendent for Dehradun City.

Lok Jeet Singh, who previously served in the Crime Branch-CID, has been appointed as the Police Superintendent for Rural Dehradun. Pankaj Gairola has been assigned the role of Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) in Haridwar, while Manoj Thakur is appointed as the Circle Officer in CID Dehradun.
