Rs 1,000 Crore Alloted For Joshimath In Uttarakhand Budget

The Uttarakhand government presented the budget for the year 2023-24 on Wednesday. This budget is more than 75 thousand crore rupees. The budget document was presented by Finance Minister Prem Chand Agarwal in the assembly. It is being told that this budget is Rs 76,592 crore. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has praised this budget fiercely.

Describing the budget presented by Finance Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal in the assembly as ‘brilliant’, CM Dhami said, “This is the budget to fulfill the resolution of our strong Uttarakhand @ 2025.”

Along with this, Dhami congratulated Finance Minister Aggarwal for the budget and said, “It is balanced, inclusive and accessible to all sections, based on the concept of PM Modi’s mantra ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’.” Along with this, the CM said, this budget is the budget to fulfill the resolution of our strong Uttarakhand @ 2025. This is the budget of the resolution of new Uttarakhand.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the central point of this budget is the development of Uttarakhand. The budget has been made keeping in mind to make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand. He said, “The journey of development has been told around these words, development, sustainable development and inclusive development. How is development to be done, what will be the direction of development? This budget is clear on this also.”

Special emphasis on these parts in the budget

Praising the budget presented on Wednesday, the CM said that a lot of attention has been paid to infrastructure. In this, importance has also been given to agriculture, horticulture, rural development, health and tourism. Special arrangements have been made for the youth in this budget. Emphasis has been laid on creating an environment of employment and self-employment for the youth of the state. Along with this, an arrangement of Rs 101 crore has been made for the metro service in the state capital Dehradun.

The government also took care of Joshimath in the budget

At the same time, CM Dhami said that it is our resolve to make Joshimath stand in a new form. For this, we have made a provision of Rs 1000 crore in the budget. After the crack in the houses and houses of Joshimath, a large number of people have been shifted there.
