Uttarakhand holds Bhoomi Pujan for new football stadium, boon for athletes and sports fans

Uttarakhand: For the purpose of constructing a football field in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, Bhoomi Pujan was performed today. Ajay Bhatt, the Union's State Minister for Defense, and Rekha Arya, the Minister for Sports and Women Child Development Empowerment in Uttarakhand, both attended this event. The price to construct this football stadium is 477.39 lakhs. People are very excited for this stadium to be constructed in the middle of the city. It is anticipated that both athletes and sports fans will gain significantly from this.

The lack of a football stadium in Haldwani and the surrounding areas depressed hundreds of football players, but now that a new stadium is being built there, there is great excitement among the populace. Sports Minister Rekha Arya stated that the government is constantly looking to improve its efforts to promote sports after the Bhoomi Poojan for the football stadium. He claimed that the building of a football stadium in the heart of Haldwani city will be a turning point for athletes and sports fans in light of the Central and State Governments' efforts to better present their budgets in support of players and sports.

State government works to promote sports

Ajay Bhatt, the Union Minister of State for Defense, also expressed his congratulations to the Sports Department and the athletes on the occasion and noted that the football stadium's foundation stone will go down in history as a significant moment for the athletes. The state government works to promote sports, but aside from that, if a budget is required for sports, the federal government will work to contribute fully. According to Ajay Bhatt, this will be a huge accomplishment for Uttarakhand because in the future, its athletes will need to demonstrate their superiority in national and international competitions like the Paralympics and Olympics.
