Uttarakhand News: The state of Uttarakhand would hold a one-day employment fair on February 21 to offer employment to more than 4000 posts.
Champawat District Magistrate Manish Kumar remarked that the employment fair would be organized at the festival venue close to Tanakpur’s Sainik Kalyan Rishtam Griha under the celebration of Champawat Saras Corbett Festival 2026.

RK Pant, the District Employment Officer, remarked that several prominent national companies, including but not limited to Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Pukhraj Healthcare, Quess Corp and more would participate in the one-day employment fair.

Human Resources representatives from these companies would be selecting candidates from the state for more than 4000 vacancies in different fields via written exams and interviews.
Educational Qualifications And Eligibility
Interested candidates with ITI, Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate, 10th, 12th and B.Tech degrees would be allowed to attend and participate in the employment fair in Tanakpur. For the employment fair, the age limit for interested applicants is 18 to 30 years. Candidates who would be selected at the fair would be offered a salary of Rs. 18000-22000 per month, depending on their educational and professional qualifications.

Interested candidates are required to arrive at the employment fair’s site at 9am on February 21, 2026, with clear photocopies of their educational certificates, two passport-size photographs and their updated resume. Candidates must register on the National Career Service Portal (www.ncs.gov.in) before arriving at the fair venue. Candidates can also register via a QR code.
