Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority has completed the survey work for three new helicopter routes in the state. The proposal is now advancing, aiming to commence helicopter services on these routes. The government is initiating this step to promote pilgrimage and tourism in the region.

• Survey Completion: The survey for the proposed helicopter routes, including Kailash Mansarovar and Om Parvat, has been successfully completed by the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. The next step involves awaiting approval from the Central Civil Aviation Ministry to proceed with the implementation of these helicopter services.
• Enhancing Connectivity: The expansion of helicopter services aligns with the government's efforts to improve connectivity to key tourist and religious destinations. The goal is to make these destinations more accessible and attractive for tourists, fostering both tourism and the economy of the state.
• Awaiting Central Approval: The authorities are now awaiting approval from the Central Civil Aviation Ministry to initiate the helicopter services on these routes.
