Uttarakhand News: The state of Uttarakhand witnessed a historic moment as it appointed its first woman Chief Secretary. IAS officer Radha Ratudi, belonging to the 1988 batch, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the state.

The official orders were issued on Wednesday morning. Notably, she succeeds Dr. SS Sandhu, who completed his tenure as Chief Secretary today.
Uttarakhand Appoints Its First Woman Chief Secretary
The newly appointed Chief Secretary, Radha Ratudi, has assumed office and outlined her priorities in an interaction with the media. She emphasized that the immediate focus of the government is to implement the Uttarakhand Self-Reliant Cooperative Institution (USCI). An expert committee formed for USCI will present its report to the Chief Minister on February 2. The report will be placed before the Cabinet on February 3. A special session of the State Assembly will be convened from February 5 to 8 to pass the USCI Bill.
Radha Ratudi brings her extensive experience and expertise to the position, and her appointment as the first woman Chief Secretary marks a significant milestone for Uttarakhand.
