4 bridges in UP's Chandauli found in 'dilapidated condition': Survey

After the cable bridge accident on Machhu river in Morbi, Gujarat, now those bridges of UP are being surveyed which are in bad condition. In Chandauli, four such bridges have come to the fore in the survey which is in poor condition. Despite this, traffic continues through those bridges. In such a situation, they are feasting on a big accident.

135 people were killed in the tragic accident that took place on October 30 in Morbi, Gujarat. After the accident, a survey has been done of the bridges in bad condition in UP. The UP government has given orders for this. In the survey, four bridges have been identified in Chandauli, UP, which are in a dilapidated condition. This bridge is not safe under any circumstances from the point of view of traffic.

After identifying four dilapidated bridges in UP's Chandauli, the officials said that these bridges are not suitable for vehicular movement. According to officials, the bridge survey report has been submitted to the state government.

The Musakhand bridge at Chakia, a Naxal-affected area of ​​Chandauli in eastern Uttar Pradesh, is in a dilapidated condition. It is built in a forested area about 50 km from Chandauli headquarters. Many villages have traffic through the bridge. It was made about 10 years ago. Around 5 poles of the bridge are damaged. This bridge connects about 16 villages. But its condition is such that it can fall anytime.

There has been a continuous demand for its repair by the local people. At the same time, the report sent to the government includes Moosakhand Bridge and Magaur Bridge in Chandauli as well as two other bridges in the district which are located in the same area of ​​Chakia.
