The Allahabad High Court, while rejecting the petition seeking sanction for criminal prosecution against UP CM Yogi Adityanath, has not only imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on the petitioner, but has also raised questions on the intention. The court has not ruled out the apprehension that the petitioner is a mask of some forces which are opposing CM Yogi Adityanath and do not want to see the progress of Uttar Pradesh. The court has said in its decision that the intention of such petitioners and their income should be investigated. Although the court has not given any order for direct investigation, but it has said that the UP government can definitely take a decision in this regard.

This order has been given by Justice DK Singh's single bench while rejecting the petition of social activist Parvez Parvaz of Gorakhpur. The petition is related to the sanction to prosecute CM Yogi Adityanath in an old criminal case of 2007. The court has said in its decision that the High Court and the Supreme Court have already disposed of the applications related to this demand. After that filing revision application again in the lower court and challenging the decision in the High Court raises doubt on the intention of the petitioner. Commenting about the petitioner Parvez Parvaz, the court has said that he seems to be a very busy person. Despite having 14 criminal cases against him, Yogi has been fighting a legal battle for 16 years in the case related to Adityanath. By now he must have spent a lot of money too. In such a situation, what is his intention and what are his sources of income, it can be investigated.

Additional Advocate General said this

During the hearing of the case, Manish Goyal, Additional Advocate General of the UP Government, said that Yogi Adityanath has changed the face of Uttar Pradesh after becoming the Chief Minister in the year 2017. UP is continuously moving forward on the path of progress, but many people are not liking this progress. He is opposing CM Yogi and does not want to see the progress of Uttar Pradesh. The petitioner seems to be a mask of such forces. The court has written in its decision that there can be force in these things of the Additional Advocate General. Although the court is not ordering any kind of investigation, but if the government wants, it can conduct an investigation.
