Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda has made fresh allegations regarding the alleged Ram Temple donation theft controversy, citing recent media reports about a gold offering made to the temple.
Anurag Dhanda raises fresh questions
In a post on X, Dhanda referred to media reports claiming that former Union Home Secretary S. Lakshmi Narayana had donated a Ramcharitmanas made of nearly one kilogram of gold to the Ram Temple. He alleged that neither a receipt for the offering nor any official clarification regarding its status has been provided. These claims have not been independently verified.
Questioning the handling of the matter, Dhanda alleged that if such an offering remained unaccounted for, it raised serious concerns about the functioning of the temple administration. He further claimed that the issue warranted a transparent investigation.
AAP leader also targeted Ram Temple Trust General Secretary Champat Rai
The AAP leader also targeted Ram Temple Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, alleging that the developments raised questions about accountability within the trust. These are political allegations made by Dhanda, and no evidence was provided to substantiate them.
The Ram Temple Trust has not issued any official response to Dhanda’s latest remarks. Meanwhile, investigations into the alleged donation theft controversy remain underway, and no official findings have established wrongdoing against any individual in connection with the claims.
