Rahul Gandhi: Ahead of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s scheduled visit to Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, the Moradabad Divisional Commissioner, Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, has requested the leader to reconsider his program. The administration has cited ongoing tension in the area as a reason for the appeal.

Restricted Entry to Maintain Peace

The District Magistrate has imposed a ban on the entry of outsiders into Sambhal until December 10, aiming to avoid provocation and maintain peace. Singh stated, "The situation in Sambhal is calm right now but remains tense. If individuals from outside arrive, there is a possibility of provocation and disturbance."

The Commissioner confirmed that investigations into the incident that triggered unrest are ongoing. Authorities are working to ensure complete restoration of normalcy, urging all parties to cooperate.
