Ayodhya News: Ramnagari Ayodhya is set to receive a massive financial boost as CM Yogi Adityanath prepares to unveil projects worth ₹1,700 crore during the upcoming Deepotsav celebrations. The Chief Minister will inaugurate nearly 50 completed projects for public benefit, while simultaneously laying the foundation for an equal number of new initiatives from the Ramkatha Park.

Among the major inaugurations is the Ayurvedic Medical College in Hunhuna village, Mawai block, constructed at a cost of ₹49 crore. The project, which began in 2021-22 under Construction and Design Services, has seen its buildings and infrastructure completed as per the planned schedule. According to Dr. Mahendra Singh Vishnu, Nodal Officer DO Ayodhya, the college and hospital buildings are ready for operation, with medical services such as OT being initiated immediately.

For the next two years, the medical college will function primarily as a healthcare facility. Once services meet ACISM standards, the state government will permit admission of 60 students for academic programs, ensuring both education and medical services progress simultaneously.
These projects are part of CM Yogi Adityanath’s broader vision to strengthen Ayodhya’s infrastructure, improve healthcare facilities, and provide employment opportunities for the region. The Deepotsav celebrations will thus not only showcase the city’s cultural heritage but also highlight its rapid development and modernization.
