Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha: As the eagerly anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya approaches, Hindus around the world are preparing to participate in this significant event. On January 18, the 51-inch black stone idol, intricately carved by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was reverently placed in the sanctum sanctorum, covered with a cloth. The eyes of the idol will be unveiled on January 22 at 12:30 pm during the auspicious muhurtam of the consecration. For those unable to attend the grand ceremony, astrological expert Pandit Jagannath Guruji shares simple steps to perform Ram Puja at home during the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha.
Performing Ram Puja at Home: A Spiritual Connection
To create a sacred atmosphere at home, place the heart of the puja in the form of Lord Ram’s idol gently facing you. Alongside, position an idol of the infant Ram, symbolizing innocence and divine potential. Enhance the divine ambiance by scattering petals of marigolds and jasmine, offering symbols of purity and divine love.
Chanting the Ram Mantra for Divine Connection
Engage in the spiritual practice of chanting the powerful Ram mantra, ‘Om Ram Ramaya Namah,’ 108 times. Allow the resonance of the mantra to become a harmonious rhythm within you, seeking its divine counterpart. While chanting, visualize Lord Ram in his radiant form, showering blessings upon you. In this sacred moment, feel a profound connection to something greater than yourself, and may your puja be filled with love, devotion, and divine grace.
