CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Unveil Statues of South Indian Saints in Ayodhya

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a special ceremony in the holy city of Ayodhya Dham, the birthplace of Lord Ram, alongside Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The event, held at Brihaspati Kund, marked the unveiling of statues of three revered South Indian saints who devoted their lives to spreading the message of Lord Ram’s devotion.

The statues unveiled were of Saint Tyagaraja Mahaswami Ji, Saint Purandara Dasa Mahaswami Ji, and Saint Arunachala Kavi Mahaswami Ji — all of whom played a crucial role in promoting the Ram Bhakti tradition across South India between the 15th and 18th centuries.

Speaking at the event, CM Yogi paid heartfelt tribute to the saints, acknowledging their spiritual contributions that united people through devotion, music, and philosophy. He extended warm greetings to the followers of these saints and appreciated the presence of distinguished guests at the ceremony.
