Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath addressed a programme in Lucknow focused on increasing the margins of more than 78,000 fair price shop dealers across the state and launching a new feedback mechanism under the single-stage doorstep delivery system.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the public distribution system and improving coordination between fair price shop dealers and the government. The new e-PoS-based fair price shop dealer feedback system is expected to provide dealers with a structured mechanism to share their feedback regarding the delivery and distribution process.

The Uttar Pradesh government has been working to improve the efficiency and transparency of foodgrain distribution through technology-driven systems. The e-PoS-based feedback mechanism is intended to make the distribution process more responsive while providing fair price shop dealers with a direct channel to communicate their concerns.
The increase in the margins of fair price shop dealers is also being presented as a measure to support thousands of dealers associated with the state’s public distribution network.
