Under the Chief Minister’s instructions, the celebrations will take place simultaneously in every district, tehsil, and development block. The programs will include Ramayana Path, devotional songs, bhajan-kirtan, cultural performances, and deep prajwalan (lamp lighting). The Culture Department will coordinate the events in collaboration with district administrations. Committees headed by District Magistrates have been formed to oversee local arrangements, involving artists, social workers, and public representatives to ensure community participation.
Highlighting the importance of the event, CM Yogi said that Valmiki Jayanti should not remain limited to official ceremonies but should become a people’s movement spreading the message of equality, service, and compassion. He emphasized that cleanliness, drinking water, and adequate seating arrangements must be ensured at every venue.
