The Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced that the country’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) City is being developed in Lucknow, an initiative the chief minister said is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The project aims to position the state as a national hub for advanced technology, innovation, and digital research.

Alongside the AI City initiative, the government confirmed the launch of an AI-enabled multidisciplinary university in Unnao. Officials stated that the institution is designed to prepare future-ready professionals with advanced technical skills, innovation capacity, and interdisciplinary knowledge suited for emerging industries.
