CM Yogi Adityanath has assured residents that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in Uttar Pradesh, urging the public not to believe or spread rumors regarding the availability of fuel and cooking gas in the state.

In a statement, the Chief Minister clarified that the supply of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders remains normal across the state and that the government is closely monitoring distribution to ensure uninterrupted availability of these essential commodities.

Adityanath also issued strict instructions to authorities to take immediate and strong action against black marketing and hoarding. He stated that if any distributor, agency or private individual is found involved in illegal activities such as hoarding or selling fuel and LPG cylinders in the black market, a First Information Report (FIR) will be registered and the strictest legal action will follow.
The state administration has been directed to keep a close watch on fuel distribution networks and maintain coordination with oil marketing companies and local distributors. Officials have been asked to ensure that supplies reach consumers without delay and that no artificial shortage is created in the market.
Authorities are also monitoring storage facilities and supply chains across districts to prevent any disruption. District administrations have been instructed to act swiftly if any complaints regarding hoarding, overpricing or irregular supply are reported.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the government remains fully committed to ensuring the availability of essential services and commodities for the public in every situation. He emphasized that maintaining public convenience and meeting the needs of citizens is a top priority for the state government.
Officials have urged citizens to remain calm, rely on verified information, and report any suspicious activity related to hoarding or black marketing so that appropriate action can be taken promptly.
