Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that Shri Ayodhya Dham is emerging as a global centre of cultural and spiritual renaissance, reflecting India’s ancient civilisational values and spiritual heritage. The Chief Minister made these remarks while attending the Pran Pratistha Dwadashi ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, alongside Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Sharing moments from the sacred ceremony, CM Yogi highlighted the historic and spiritual significance of Ayodhya, describing it as a land of purity, devotion, and eternal faith. Quoting a verse from the Ramcharitmanas — “बंदउँ अवध पुरी अति पावनि। सरजू सरि कलि कलुष नसावनि” — he emphasized Ayodhya’s sanctity and the divine presence of the Sarayu River, which continues to inspire millions of devotees across generations.

He noted that large-scale development projects undertaken by the Uttar Pradesh government are aimed at preserving Ayodhya’s spiritual essence while enhancing facilities for pilgrims and tourists.
The Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to making Ayodhya a world-class spiritual destination, strengthening religious tourism, and creating new economic opportunities for local residents.
