He appealed to the people of Uttar Pradesh to adopt cleanliness as a ‘national sanskar’ (national virtue) and to take a daily pledge to use toilets and encourage others to do the same. According to him, collective participation is the only way to achieve the vision of a “Swachh Uttar Pradesh – Swasth Uttar Pradesh.”

The Chief Minister also appreciated the ongoing efforts of government bodies, local administrations, and volunteer groups working towards improving sanitation infrastructure across the state. He reiterated that the government remains committed to ensuring hygiene facilities for every household, promoting dignity, health, and safety for all.
