Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt greetings to devotees and the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima, one of the most sacred bathing festivals in the Hindu calendar. He conveyed his best wishes for peace, prosperity, and spiritual well-being on this holy day.

In his message, the Chief Minister warmly welcomed revered saints, religious leaders, Kalpvasis, and lakhs of devotees who gathered in Prayagraj to take the holy dip at the sacred confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati. He described the Sangam as a divine Triveni symbolising faith, penance, and spiritual purity.

Yogi Adityanath said that Maghi Purnima holds deep religious significance, as devotees believe that taking a holy bath on this day cleanses the soul and brings spiritual merit. He noted that Prayagraj once again emerged as a centre of devotion, discipline, and divinity, reflecting India’s timeless spiritual heritage.

He also appreciated the disciplined participation of pilgrims and the efforts of the administration to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-organised spiritual experience for all.

Concluding his message, the Chief Minister invoked the sacred chant “Har Har Gange”, reaffirming the cultural and spiritual essence of the holy occasion.
