Referring to social welfare initiatives, the Chief Minister said that with the goal of zero poverty, more than six crore people in Uttar Pradesh have been lifted out of poverty. He added that targeted welfare schemes and direct benefit transfers have helped ensure that government support reaches the most vulnerable sections of society without leakages.
Highlighting economic progress, CM Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a strong pillar of India’s food security, with reforms linking farmers directly to markets and record DBT payments boosting farm incomes. He also pointed out that large-scale industrial expansion, MSME growth, startup promotion, and the ODOP (One District One Product) scheme have significantly reduced unemployment and curbed migration.
