CM Yogi Adityanath Government Announces PRAGATI Tech Park to Strengthen AI, Robotics and Deep-Tech Ecosystem

The CM Yogi Adityanath government has announced a major push towards deep-tech innovation with the proposed establishment of PRAGATI (Park for Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, GPU Clusters and Advanced Technical Innovation) in Noida. The initiative is part of the state’s broader vision to position Uttar Pradesh as a leading destination for emerging technologies, advanced manufacturing, and innovation-driven industries.

In a statement shared on social media, the Uttar Pradesh government said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is laying the foundation for India’s next phase of technological growth through PRAGATI and U Hub. The government said the initiative aims to build a future-ready ecosystem that supports research, entrepreneurship, investment, and high-skilled employment.

The project will focus on key sectors including Artificial Intelligence

According to the government, the proposed 75-acre integrated technology park will be developed in Noida and is envisioned as India’s first integrated robotics and advanced manufacturing cluster. The project will focus on key sectors including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Quantum Computing, Semiconductors, GPU computing infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

The proposed technology park will include startup incubation centres, co-working spaces, research and development facilities, robotics testing laboratories, AI computing infrastructure, and rapid prototyping facilities. These resources are intended to support startups, technology companies, researchers, and innovators working in cutting-edge fields.

The government estimates that the PRAGATI project could generate more than one lakh employment opportunities and contribute over ₹2,000 crore in value addition to the state’s economy over the next five years. Officials believe the initiative will also attract high-value investments, strengthen industrial innovation, and encourage collaboration between academia, industry, and technology startups.
