Khanna said the initiative will play a crucial role in strengthening digital infrastructure and improving internet accessibility, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas of the state.

Officials stated that the project is expected to boost digital services, online education, e-governance and business opportunities, making technology more accessible to citizens.

The initiative is also aligned with the government’s broader vision of digital transformation and inclusive development, ensuring that modern connectivity reaches more households across the state.

Authorities believe that improved digital infrastructure will help bridge the digital divide and support the growing demand for internet-based services in various sectors, including education, healthcare and entrepreneurship.

Officials further stated that the collaboration will also support the expansion of digital platforms used by government departments, enabling faster delivery of public services and improving transparency in administration.

Improved internet connectivity is expected to encourage the growth of startups, digital businesses and remote work opportunities, particularly in smaller towns and rural regions of the state.

The agreement marks another step in the state government’s efforts to promote technological advancement and digital empowerment for people across Uttar Pradesh, helping the state move towards a more connected and digitally driven economy.
