Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday congratulated the people of Uttar Pradesh and the country on the completion of 11 years of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign, calling educated, cultured and self-reliant daughters the true identity of a “New India.” He credited the initiative to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose guidance the campaign has emerged as a nationwide movement for women’s dignity and empowerment.

The Chief Minister said that the success of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is visible in the growing participation of women across all sectors, from the economy to space and from governance to leadership roles. He noted that girls today are not only pursuing education but are also actively contributing to decision-making and nation-building.
Highlights Role of Educated Daughters in New India
CM Yogi Adityanath emphasised that social awareness generated through the campaign has played a key role in changing mindsets towards the education and empowerment of girls. He said daughters are studying, progressing and achieving success in diverse fields, reflecting a positive shift in society’s outlook.
Reiterating the state government’s commitment, the Chief Minister said the double-engine government is working with full dedication to ensure the safety, respect, rights and equal opportunities of women and girls. He added that initiatives focused on education, skill development, health and security are being continuously strengthened to create an enabling environment for women to thrive.
