CM Yogi Adityanath: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, calling it a transformative initiative that has strengthened India’s rural economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the scheme has played a major role in improving the financial condition of farmers across the country.
Direct Financial Assistance to Farmers
CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts. He noted that this Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system ensures transparency and eliminates corruption by removing middlemen from the process.
Boost to Rural Economy
He further stated that the scheme has significantly boosted rural economic activity. With assured financial support, farmers are able to manage agricultural expenses more effectively, including seeds, fertilizers, and equipment. This has also increased spending in rural markets, contributing to overall economic growth in villages.
Support for Small and Marginal Farmers
According to CM Yogi Adityanath, the scheme has been especially beneficial for small and marginal farmers who often struggle with limited income sources. The regular financial assistance has reduced economic pressure and provided stability to millions of farming families.
Transparency and Good Governance
The chief minister also emphasized the transparent implementation of the scheme. He said that digital technology and Aadhaar-linked banking systems have made the delivery of funds efficient, timely, and corruption-free, reflecting the government’s commitment to good governance.
