The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for the historic rise in the state’s agricultural growth rate. “In 2016–17, Uttar Pradesh’s agriculture growth rate stood at 8.6 percent. In 2024–25, it has reached an unprecedented 17.7 percent — a reflection of our government’s commitment to empowering farmers,” he stated.

He added that improved irrigation facilities, timely availability of fertilizers, advanced technology, and transparent procurement systems have collectively ensured better income for farmers and enhanced food security.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continue working for the welfare of farmers through schemes like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Cards, and initiatives for crop diversification and organic farming. “The progress of our farmers is the true measure of Uttar Pradesh’s growth,” Yogi Adityanath said.
